Pangkil Island is a group of small islands located a few miles off Bintan Island. The destination is accessible by boat and is about 15 ~ 20 minutes away from Tanjung Pinang International Ferry Terminal or from Batam.
There are 3 fishing villages at the island with the population of less than 1000 peoples. The villages are very kind and friendly. Pulau Pangkil have tropical castaway qualities, tall coconut palms, white sandy beaches and crystal clear water surrounded by coral reefs and most part of the island covered by coconut trees and tropical vegetation. And just like most beaches in Bintan, Pangkil Island is ideal for snorkelling, fishing, swimming, sea sports, picnics, cycling or jogging. This island has a breath-taking view of the scenic surrounding ideal for private retreat for family and friends.
Infrastructure of the island have been upgrade for the past years such as roads, water and electrical supply at the island including 24 hrs. government clinic, doctor and police post.
