1. Obtaining Expatriates Employment Plan (RPTKA)
Investor must possess an Expatriates Employment Plan or RPTKA if they planned to employ foreign workers to operate their business activity. An RPTKA is valid for a maximum of 5 years and it is renewable.

Application to obtain RPTKA is submitted by Foreign or Domestic Investment Enterprise (PMA/PMDN) to the Director for Foreign Workers Employment Control (Ditjen P2TKA), Directorate General for Manpower Development, Ministry of Manpower; through the service counter available in P2TKA Directorate or through the Integrated Service Office in BKPM. Expired RPTKA may be renewed at the followings: · P2TKA Directorate for cross provincial investment; · Provincial Manpower Agency in Kepulauan Riau when the investment is taken place in Kepulauan Riau region. |

2. Recommendation of Temporary Resident's Certificate KITAS/VITAS (Rekomendasi TA-01)
KITAS (TA-01) recommendation is granted to any investor employing expatriates. It provides immigration process accessibilities for expatriates to work in the business of investment in Indonesia. KITAS recommendation is valid for all foreign workers employed.

3. Foreign Worker Employment Permit (IMTA)
Expatriates is required to hold a valid Foreign Worker Employment Permit (IMTA) employed by any foreign or domestic investment enterprise (PMA/PMDN) in its business activity in Indonesia. IMTA is valid for a maximum of one year and it is renewable.
